Sang Jho M.D.

Dr. Sang Jho is a 2004 graduate of the SUNY Upstate Medical University at Syracuse. Dr. Jho completed his general surgery training at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City from 2004 to 2009. He served as a chief resident during 2008-2009 and was named chief resident of the year. He joined Island Surgical and Vascular Group as a new member in 2009. His areas of expertise include “bread and butter” general surgery, namely abdominal wall hernia surgery, biliary tract surgery, treatment of various neoplastic and inflammatory processes of gastrointestinal tract, minimally invasive surgery, and acute care of trauma patients. Dr. Jho has been certified by the American Board of Surgery since 2010, and is currently eligible for Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
